Classes
Bumble Bee Class 
Ages: 1 & 2 years old
The children in this class would have an anticipated kindergarten start date of at least 4 years.
The Bunble Bees are our youngest class. They spend their day at play. During structured play they will learn their colors, shapes, numbers, and Zoo Phonics. They also color, have story time, and singing.
Dove Class 
Ages: 2 & 3 years old
The children in this class would have an anticipated kindergarten start date of 3 years.
The Doves are our begining prescjool class. In this class they work at coloring a whole picture and eventually staying in the lines. They will learn to recognize their colors, shapes, numbers to at least 10, alphabet, and phonics. They will also learn to count to 20. They use many manipulatives including play-doh, blocks, finger painting, puzzles, and counting bears. You can often find the Doves reading a story or singing songs.
Lamb Class 
Ages: 3 & 4 years old
The Lambs have a lot of fun. In this class they learn to count and recognize 1-25. They learn all of their shapes and colors. Thay will recognize all of their alphabet and many will know the phonic sound that goes with it. They use a lot of finger manipulatives including coloring, finger painting, and play-doh. These are used to prepare the children to learn to write next year. They begin to learn the strokes for letter writting such as vertical, horizontal, & slant lines, as well as curves and circles. They will also learn to write their names.
Zebra Class 
Ages: 4-5 years old
The children in this class may be old enough to start kindergarten next year, but may not be quite ready to go. The goal of this class would be to get them ready. Zebras and Rhinos will learn most of the same things through the year, just at different levels. It is our goal that both of these classes be prepared for kindergarten the next year.
Rhino Class
Ages: 5-6 years old
The children in this class will go to Kindergarten the next school year. They will learn to count, recognize, and write their numbers 1-50. They will learn to write the alphabet letters. They will match the alphabet letter to the phonic sound and begin to sound out words. They will learn all of the colors and shapes, and how to draw the shapes.
